Evolve appointed as approved installer for ‘Connected for Warmth’ scheme
The Connected for Warmth scheme sees National Grid and Agility Eco come together to fund home improvements to households across the UK that will reduce energy usage and therefore lower fuel bills. It is designed to help people tackle the cost-of-living crisis and the problem of ever-increasing fuel bills. Properties must be in Council Tax band A-D to qualify and can be either owned or rented.
Working alongside National Grid and Agility Eco
“It’s an honour to work alongside National Grid and Agility Eco to deliver this scheme. From our company headquarters in Monmouth and second office in Cardiff, we’re perfectly placed for this. Making a difference to people’s homes and welfare is what it’s all about for us so we can’t wait to get started on helping people reduce their energy usage and lower their bills, all for free. We expect to install new measures in thousands of properties in the coming year and urge homeowners and tenants to apply for the funding sooner rather than later as it is likely to be very popular” – Said Brian from Evolve Home Energy Solutions.
Free measures to tackle fuel poverty
Primary measures on offer are cavity wall insulation and loft insulation, plus customers are also very likely to qualify for other improvements such as SMART heating controls, radbots, radiator reflectors, LED lightbulbs and draught-proofing.
Warmth scheme by National Grid and Agility Eco
Appointed by National Grid and Agility Eco in early 2023, Evolve will be responsible for carrying out all the home energy surveys and installing the measures for anyone with South Wales and South West postcodes who want to take advantage of this offer.
